How Much You Need?
Chromium is found commercially in 2 forms: Chromium Picolinate and Chromium Polynicotinate Acid. Unfortunately, it seems that around 90% of commercially available Chromium is in the form of Chromium Picolinate, NOT Chromium Polynicotinate Acid.
As a general rule, when we take supplements they should be as identical to what we make naturally as possible. And remember, Chromium found in our body naturally is Chromium + Niacin (B3), and that is what Chromium Polynicotinate Acid is. This means that the form you’re taking here is exactly what your body makes. This is a subtle, but super important distinction!
We recommend taking 200 mcg twice daily. Some people need more, but most will see great results with a twice daily dosing.
